I spoke with Katie (Pat's wife) this past weekend and she told me that Mac had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer late last year. She said he was operated on around Christmastime and was now home recuperating. Once he has, he will begin chemo. She said the type of pancreatic cancer Mac suffers from has a 95% survival rate.
Bob, Katie mentioned that you and Lisa had a chance to visit with Mac earlier this month, so any additional information you may have please, let us know.

I hope the 95% cure rate is accurate because it's usually the other way around in pancreatic cancer. We will pray for him up here in the Panhandle.
