Cecelia Debuts!
Natalie gave birth to her third child a few weeks ago. Cecelia was born about 4 weeks premature and weighed in at 6 lb/ 7 oz. Had to spend the first week in the PICU, but got through it just fine. Home now and thriving! I'll email baby register information when I have it. That's big sister Olivia in the first photo.

Cudos to Tiffany
I just have to pass this on, we are so proud of Tiffany. As many of you know, Tiffany, for over 17 years, has been engaged in the defense of doctors and nurses who have been accused of negligence in the performance of their professional duties. Her most recent appearance in court was in the defense of an ER doctor who was charged with negligence in the death of a 9 year old girl. The death resulted from an accident where the girl banged her knee on the bottom of her swimming pool. She was taken to the ER, but a week later she was dead.
I won't go into details of her treatment but her death resulted in a lawsuit being filed against the ER doctor for wrongful death and a demand for $26.2 million, in damages. After two weeks of testimony and arguments, the jury was unable to agree on a verdict and the judge declared a mistrial. The plaintiff refused to negotiate and instead filed another action, to start after the Christmas holidays. In conference with the judge and opposing attorneys, on Tiffany's motion to Recuse the judge, the judge told Tiffany, "It's not a matter of whether you are going to win or not, the only question is "How much are they going to get.'"
Tiffany tried the case again and this time the jury came in with a verdict of "No Negligence" on the part of her doctor. They got nothing.πππͺπ₯π₯
