Interesting website

I was reading stuff on Facebook and saw that a friend of our cousin, Barbara, posted some info about Barbara's parents and their gravesites. I went on it and was amazed at the info that was there. I googled www.findagrave.com Apparently you can edit, but I didn't do that. I especially thought that Bobby, our historian, might be interested, but I found it to be super informative. The weirdest was looking at Uncle Neil's-the picture from when he was a teenager was spot on of our Neil. I must admit, I wondered if it WAS a pic of our Neil... Anyhow, let me know if anyone else gets on it and what they think. Oh and if this is one of those websites everybody already knew about, my bad!

There certainly are some interesting things to be learned from Facebook. I'll check it out.

What a coincidence. On my work email today someone was looking for a site to find lost family members to resolve title/ownership issues. This was one of the recommended websites. I looked at it briefly and saw what you reported.

Read on FB? Get over it and get a Facebook account and friend request your immediate family.
Time to finally end this pathetic blog
Our family is as divided as this country
(unfortunately)
Sadly we will never have a reunion again because of it.
Mom and dad are definitely turning over in their graves
You can pick your friends but you can’t pick your family
Am I right?

Margie, that's a little harsh. I hope you can temper your views as you age, life is too short to carry that baggage. How can we hope to mend fences if we don't communicate? There is no reason why we all have to think alike.

Larry, this blog is depressing. A handful of us want nothing to do with it. Politics was never supposed to be entered into it, but yet it was.
Getting rid of the blog is not political. I think it will actually save our family if we end it.
Everybody has everyone’s email and telephone number. The Internet is the main reason in my opinion of what is destroying this country.
So much hatred on here. I was not adding to it I was just being honest and working towards a solution to bring us together.

Marge, if you find the blog depressing, I suggest you take a break. I find it fascinating.

I like posting on the blog because I know it won't get used by outside people. I'm all for a reunion anytime, anywhere.
