Larry Jr. and Erika Medina became husband and wife recently at a private ceremony in Hendersonville, NC. Many of you met Erika at our recent reunion and welcomed her into our family. Erika works with Larry at VoipAsheville, is a receptionist with a local real estate company and is also taking classes at Blue Ridge Community College. She is quite a hard worker and a lovely person. We congratulate Larry and Erika and wish them much love and happiness.
A wonderful time was had by all who attended the reunion held at the Nantahala Villages last weekend. The scenery and weather were outstanding and gave everyone a chance to experience the mountains and rivers of Western North Carolina. Among other events, Bob hosted a Rohan Trivia night during the welcome dinner, Larry Jr. arranged a rafting trip for the adventurous ones and the Nantahala Outdoor Center provided a zipline and recreation park for the children. Rosie took her group of the Smokey Mountain Train for a ride through the mountains and we finished off with dinner at Jimmy Mac's Restaurant in Bryson City. Covid kept a few people away and we missed them, but all in all, it was a pleasant respite from the everyday world.
