Hurricane Ida

 Hurricane Ida is going to pass right  over Thibodeax, La. home of Steve and Patti Harris and many of their family members.  Please pray for their safety. and the safety of all.

Memories

Thinking of mom today and thought I would share a memory that I recently had that made my day, and, of course, invite anyone to share a memory or 2 of her in honor of her birth day.

My memory is that I would sometimes fall asleep before dinner - ah, yes, the blissful nap!

Mom would find me and would wake me up by gently stroking the bottom of my bare foot. It was such a gentle way to be awoken; so beautiful to just gently wake up and then see her smile and hear her say that dinner was ready. I can feel her hand on my foot now just thinking of it.
